About Kai-Huei Yau Photography
Kai has been a staff photographer at the Tri-City Herald in Kennewick, Wash. since January 2008. In addition to still photography and multimedia, he's also written a weekly online column discussing photojournalism techniques, ethics and news, as well as sharing behind the scenes stories and outtakes since August 2008. The column is aimed at educating people about this sometimes strange and often fulfilling craft he's loved since his introductory photojournalism course at the University of Oregon.
Kai is available for freelance assignments, including weddings, where he uses his skills as a photojournalist to capture the moments you may miss of your loved ones on your special day.
