Chalk Art Festival 2009
A young girl skips through Washington State University Tri-Cities' community art section during Richland's annual Chalk Art Festival. Student Daniel Anderson described it as "Dialogical Art" -- art that is created through the interactions and dialogue created by bringing people together. They encouraged any passersby to add to the piece and discouraged people from walking around it, saying that footsteps and smearing was as much a part of the process.
